The department employs 30 faculty members: 2 Associate Professors, 2 Lecturers with PhDs, 1 doctoral student, 4 Senior Lecturers, and 21 Lecturers. Among them, 2 continue their research in doctoral and PhD programs. The Languages Department provides teaching at both undergraduate and master's levels. Two foreign languages are taught: English and German. English is taught across all programs, and in the 'Translation' specialization, all courses are taught in English, with German as the second foreign language.Faculty teach courses such as 'Translation of Economic Texts', 'Written Translation', 'Translation of Political Texts', 'Fundamentals of Professional Translation', 'Translation and Comparative Stylistics', 'Translation and Intercultural Communication', 'Documentation and Terminology', 'Oral Translation of Written Texts', 'Business English', and others. All courses follow programs approved by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan.Seminar sessions are conducted in language labs and specialized classrooms equipped with modern technical resources.
