














The Historical Museum of Baku Business University was established in 2012. The museum consists of the following thematic sections: 1. University founding documents 2. Material and technical base 3. Educational activities 4. Research work 5. International relations 6. Sports and creativity. These sections focus on showcasing the life and activities of the University, highlighting scientific, economic, and cultural indicators through detailed photo stands. Additionally, diplomas obtained in sports and creative activities are displayed as museum exhibits. The exhibits are highly appreciated by guests, faculty, and students, providing a strong impression of BBU's rapid development.
Baku Business University was established in 1993 as one of the first private higher education institutions in Azerbaijan. From its inception, the university aimed to train specialists with modern knowledge and skills suited to the country's economy and business environment. Its main focus is professional training in economics, business management, finance, accounting, marketing, and administration. Over the years, the university has strengthened its material and technical base, integrated new information technologies into the teaching process, and expanded international relations. In 2007, BBU was accredited by the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan, ensuring the official recognition of its education quality and diplomas. Subsequently, the university participated in international projects, signed cooperation agreements with European universities, and joined exchange programs like Erasmus+. Today, BBU continues to operate successfully as a specialized private higher education institution in Azerbaijan.
At the bachelor's level, the duration of study for all specialties is 4 years (8 semesters), and for part-time students, it is 5 years (10 semesters). During the study period, students are taught core and additional subjects in their fields.
All university buildings and auxiliary facilities are located in the Yasamal district, between 20 January and Inshaatchilar metro stations. The campus also includes a walking garden, science park, square, sports stadium, playground, and other recreational areas.
Baku Business University has a library with a large collection of books, periodicals, audiovisual materials, and computer resources.
