To efficiently organize students' independent and self-directed activities, Baku Business University operates a library with a large collection of resources. The library serves as the primary source of educational, scientific, and methodological information. The total area of the university library is 432 m², including a 267 m² reading hall. The library is equipped with 36 laptops and a photocopying machine. Its collection contains approximately 253,526 items: 245,180 in Azerbaijani, 4,778 in English, and 3,568 in Russian. Additionally, lecture notes prepared by faculty members for all taught courses are compiled and bound for student use. Efforts are made to provide access to electronic versions of the latest textbooks. Currently, three university-trained specialists manage library operations. Since 2022, BBU's library has been a member of the Azerbaijan Library Information Consortium (Az.KIK), which is affiliated with the international Electronic Information for Libraries (EIFL.net) consortium. Through this collaboration, BBU faculty and students can access 11,000 journals (8,516 peer-reviewed), over 2,700 books and brochures, and 510 newspaper titles electronically via the EBSCO Host database.
