Since the university's early days, the Student Scientific Society (TEC) has played a significant role in engaging students in scientific creativity. TEC has over 500 members. Since the transition to a market economy, students' interest in scientific research has dynamically increased. They actively participated in 19 scientific forums organized by the TEC, presenting in Azerbaijani, Russian, and, for some members, in English. Winners were awarded diplomas. The problems discussed in the conferences were dedicated to the socio-economic development of the country, state-building, and other important initiatives.
Conferences organized by the Student Scientific Society included students and academic supervisors from universities across the country. The best presentations were awarded first, second, and third-degree diplomas. BBU students collaborate scientifically with students from other universities. The best presentations at TEC forums are published in journal pages, serving as a recognized research output.
