The Center acts as a bridge between the university and the labor market, ensuring the enhancement of students’ practical skills, the career development of graduates, and the support of innovative initiatives. The University–Industry Cooperation and Alumni Relations Center is one of the main structural units supporting the professional development of students and alumni. The Center operates to strengthen workforce preparation in line with the demands of the modern labor market, promote the development of practical knowledge and skills, and increase the university’s integration with industry. The Center’s activities are built around four main directions:
This direction enables students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a practical environment. The Center organizes internship programs by collaborating with local companies and institutions, creates mentorship and supervision mechanisms during internships, ensures placement of students in institutions that match their specialties, and guarantees the evaluation and accountability of internship outcomes. As a result, students get acquainted with the real work environment, develop professional skills, and enter the labor market better prepared.
This direction is focused on the formation and commercialization of innovative ideas. The Center organizes startup incubation programs and startup competitions for students, provides training and mentorship services for the development of business ideas, and supports the establishment of connections with investors and funds. These activities create an entrepreneurial environment within the university and give rise to new business initiatives.
This direction ensures continuous communication with university alumni. The Center forms and regularly updates the alumni database, evaluates the current employment situation of alumni through surveys, carries out various activities to engage alumni in the labor market, monitors alumni career development, and collects statistical data. This approach strengthens the university’s reputation and creates real role models for students.
This direction facilitates the integration of students and alumni into the labor market. It ensures cooperation with public, private, and international enterprises, the execution of joint projects and contracts, and the study of employers’ feedback and proposals. The Center conducts trainings on CV writing and interview preparation, shares job postings and establishes connections with employers, organizes career fairs and job markets, and also provides individual career counseling. These services increase the job search opportunities of students and alumni and support their professional development.
