








On November 24, 2025, an event titled “Knowledge Competition Dedicated to the 30th Anniversary of the Constitution” was held at Baku Business University. The opening speech was delivered by Associate Professor Shalala Hasanova, PhD in Law. Emphasizing that National Leader Heydar Aliyev was the author of the Constitution of independent Azerbaijan, she spoke about the historical role of this document in the formation of the country as a legal, democratic, and secular state. Associate Professor Shalala Hasanova highlighted the role of the Constitution in state administration, its significance in building a civil society, and the importance of promoting sovereignty values among the youth. The event was continued by Sevil Agayeva, the faculty chair of the Student Scientific Society. In the knowledge competition organized in a question-and-answer format, students demonstrated their knowledge regarding Heydar Aliyev''s statehood policy, the Constitution of Azerbaijan, civil rights, and sovereignty. Organized within the framework of the “Year of Constitution and Sovereignty,” the event contributed to the legal awareness of young people, the internalization of statehood principles, and increasing interest in constitutional values. At the end of the competition, participants reaffirmed that the Constitution is a crucial document reflecting the will of the people, independence, and statehood traditions.
